With over 20 years of experience in a variety of industries, John brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project undertaken by The Kilmac Group. We started out specialising in concrete, shutter, and RC frames but went on to work on the private development of residential housing estates and nursing homes.
The Kilmac Group was established in 2004 by John O’Donnell, driven by a passion for excellence and a determination to create a positive impact. Our company name was inspired by John’s hometown, Kilmacrenan, of which he remains an active and supportive community member.
Following that, we steered into student and tourism accommodation, which are significant parts of our business today. We’ve had the privilege of serving a wide range of clients, from local enterprises to international corporations, spanning across different sectors.
We do all our own retrofits and refurbs and work on the development of new housing schemes. The Kilmac Group work primarily in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, but we have worked in the UK and Scotland previously. Our Founder, John O’Donnell has been honoured with numerous awards for his exceptional leadership and outstanding business achievements.
